Students will have an opportunity to staff the Talon Marks online newspaper this summer by enrolling in JOUR 104 - Summer Newspaper Article Writing. The six-week class starts May 21 and is offered on an arranged basis.

This course focuses on media article writing using the school online newspaper, TalonMarks.com, as a practical laboratory. Students research, write and edit articles for the school paper as they practice the skills of gathering information from a variety of sources. Students synthesize the story and prepare it for dissemination. Ethical and legal aspects of communication are also covered.

Students enrolled in the class should contact the instructor immediately to establish a work schedule.
